As Corporate Access / Investor Relations Manager you will actively support our Vice President Investor Relations in all aspects of event management. You will help to maintain relations and communications with (potential) institutional shareholders, research analysts, retail shareholders and the general financial community. Also you will be responsible for office management duties and light/moderate analytical support.

Your responsibilities

Event Management

You support all aspects of targeting, planning, strategy, and the booking of travel for corporate access events and other interesting events. Also you should be able to independently organize and execute investor events for the Investor Relations team, the CEO, CFO, and other members of senior management. You may be asked from time to time to host select corporate access and other events, which involves a light/moderate level of travel.

Office Management and Analytical Support

You manage and oversee the maintenance of our CRM database, support the department budget planning process and vendor management and moderate administrative duties, mainly involve booking travel and processing expense reports for the Vice President of Investor Relations.

This role also requires you to collect, analyze, and interpret data for use in external messaging, reported results, and consensus reporting. Also you gather and synthesize the opinions, expectations and perception of the financial markets with respect to the organization.

Within Investor Relations you are also responsible for organizing and commissioning the annual shareholder identification project to monitor ownership trends and for creating the semi-annual Ahold Delhaize IR Dashboard. In this you recommend changes in organization programs, and collect and disseminate other financial information.

Financial Communications

You are responsible for being a day-to-day point of contact for equity research analysts, shareholders, and internal personnel. You will be asked to create, draft, and coordinate Powerpoint presentations for external and internal purposes. Also, you are responsible for all aspects of the investor relations section on the Ahold Delhaize website and other vehicles used to disseminate (financial) information to investors and shareholders.

Over time, you will have the opportunity for progression to liaise with the (potential) institutional shareholders and equity research analysts to provide them with a comprehensive and up-to-date picture of the organization, strategic business topics, and other financial developments.

Requirements

  • A university degree in finance, marketing, communications, or business economics;
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a finance related, investor relations, or media communications role will also be considered;
  • 1-2 years of experience as corporate access manager for an investment firm, bank or brokerage is highly preferred;
  • For this role you are able to speak and write fluent in both Dutch and English.

As a person you are able to bring the following key personality skills:

  • Strong communications and organizational skills, where you can communicate to both Investors and colleagues from different organizational departments;
  • The ability to travel to events (road shows), if this is requested;
  • A willingness to also deliver operational tasks such as building slide decks and making travel arrangements.
