As Monetization Director at Ahold Delhaize, you lead our monetization strategy across our local brands on a global level.
As our Global Monetization Director, you will define, shape and lead the monetization strategy of Ahold Delhaize globally and you will successfully bring all our brands to a next-gen monetization framework. In more detail: you are responsible for initiating the optimization of all our brand monetization assets and propositions for the rapidly evolving customer expectations and challenging competitor offerings across our brands worldwide. You make sure we reach our global monetization targets across Europe and the US, and you enable and empower our local brands with strategies, tactics and tools to achieve their annual targets across the individual monetization categories.

As Monetization Director, you will be working at Ahold Delhaize. Approximately 370,000 employees worldwide serve over 50 million customers a week. On a somewhat smaller scale, you will be working with 1,500 colleagues in Zaandam, the Netherlands. You will find your new workplace at our bustling head office, next to Zaandam train station. More specifically, on the 8th floor of the Global Support Office (GSO) in the Digital Engagement department. This department is responsible for digital marketing, personalization, loyalty and monetization at Ahold Delhaize and across all our brands. However, due to COVID-19, we currently still work from home as much as possible.
Everything you do with your colleagues is directly visible in our stores and for people at home. Curious who you will be working with? You are the Director of our Monetization team and you report to the Senior Vice President of Digital Engagement. Your team is responsible for growing the monetization income for Ahold Delhaize. You do so by fueling and supporting our local brands to drive monetization income, increasing advertisement engagement and enlarging efficiency that is needed to grow a thriving omni-channel business at each of our local brands. To get the job done you will work hand-in-hand with the local Brand Monetization teams, several internal departments such as Global and European expertise teams in IT, Legal, Data & Analytics, Security and Finance and external parties such as media agencies, publishers, solution partners and AdTech vendors.
