This is what you will be doing

You are an enthusiastic and strong team manager with a clear vision of the future in the field of acquiring flexible talent (contingent). In more detail: you will be supervising a team of Talent Acquisition Partners, who are responsible of the inflow of contingent workers. As Manager Talent Acquisition – Flex Professionals, you will be actively involved in the transformation and optimization of talent acquisition processes in the flex market and you are responsible for shaping and implementing our total workforce strategy. You know how to successfully involve stakeholders and team members in your plans. Through your open attitude and organizational sensitivity, you know what it takes to bring our flex team within the Career Center to the next level.  

In addition, as our Manager Talent Acquisition you make an impact at Ahold Delhaize by: 

  • establishing and monitoring (flex) hiring standards and practices. 

  • supervising administrative activities relating the (flex) recruitment and onboarding process. 

  • coordinating the use of network and vacancy channels for contingent positions. 

  • coordinating future personnel needs with the HR business partner and Hiring Manager, based on type of hire. 

  • coordinating with other Team leads within the Career Center to align and service the business. 

  • successfully manage escalations that might take place on e.g. hourly rates.  

  • acting in line with (social) legislation and regulations.

In the Career Center all our talent acquisition activities are centralized. We focus on the requests for new talents by the business and HR business partners, by recruiting associates for all our beautiful brands based in Zaandam (Albert Heijn, Etos, Gall & Gall and our Global Support Office). You will supervise a team of Talent Acquisition Partners and already two robots (RPA’s).

And specifically, for this vacancy of Manager Talent Acquisition Flex you are the proactive type who can take chances and push through boundaries. You complete this with: 

  • at least 7 years of experience working in the area of recruitment and proven experience within the flex market.  

  • preferably supervisor or coordination experience in a corporate, dynamic work environment. 

  • experience with Fieldglass is a big plus. 

  • a strong network within the field of contingent workforce (management). 

  • proven project management skills to execute given tasks.  

  • excellent communication skills, in Dutch and English (verbal and writing).  

  • an eye for delivering quality.
