With success you create and maintain the safest operating environment for your colleagues and customers. You are a more than capable, technical and hands-on Security Engineer. As Security Engineer, make an impact at Albert Heijn by:

  • setting up and developing our new security team. 

  • performing penetration tests and  security assessments on our network infrastructures, web applications and mobile applications to discover vulnerabilities in our digital development environment. 

  • participating in the scope definition of security tests and creating network disaster recovery plans. 

  • investigating IT security breaches and other cyber security incidents.

  • researching security enhancements and making recommendations for our management team.

  • implementing technical strategies, techniques and tools to secure our data and information. We use IBM Appscan, Burp Suite, Owasp Zap Proxy and SonarQube, but feel free to bring new additions or make changes.  

  • achieving that the AH to go in our office will sell Club-Mate for you and your team members.

Are you wondering whom to co-work with? As a Security Engineer for AH Digital Development, a business unit within AH Technology, you work in the head office of Ahold Delhaize in Zaandam. You will work in a new team. A team you get to coach, develop and help grow. As the largest supermarket in the Netherlands, we fill about 5 million plates with our 100,000 employees. And if it is up to us, we will soon do that together with you as our Security Engineer. Especially if you bring the much needed communication skills and proactive attitude to Albert Heijn. You also have:

  • a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT. Or an equivalent level based on your experience.

  • over 5 years of experience working as a Security Engineer.

  • certificates like OSCP, OSCE, CEH and/or GPEN.  

  • experience with security architectures.

  • pentest experience. You know how to conduct a pentest and how to interpret findings from a pentest.

  • security tests in place to fight off smelly things like code execution, SQL injection and cross site scripting. 

  • in-depth understanding of security in cloud computing and microservices architecture. 

  • knowledge on programming to help our teams with secure coding in for example Kotlin, Java, JS or Swift.

  • experience with coaching teams on security. This is a plus. 

  • a very proactive approach with the confidence to make decisions. 

  • some serious gaming skills. You are definitely the king or queen of Mario Kart, foosball or table tennis. Game on!
