Data Analytics Platform Architect

As Platform Architect you are responsible for the architecture, governance & risk management as well as roadmap of the “Data & Analytics” platform within our Global Support Office (GSO).

Dive wholeheartedly into these key responsibilities

• Provide strategic input by translating enterprise goals and risks into data platform architecture direction
• Take a leadership role in the management of the data platform architecture
• Define and manage the platform technology roadmap in line with GSO Tech strategy and overarching Enterprise Architecture roadmap
• Make sure the platform architecture has a mix of the following properties: Simple, Resilient, Supportable and Future-Proof
• Work closely with the Data & Analytics Head of Tech and interact with Enterprise Architects, Product (Cluster) Architects and Tech Leads to ensure compliancy with tech strategy
• Interact with key business domains to ensure business / data platform alignment
• Be the knowledge leader on the various technological components

As a Platform Architect, you will be working closely with the GSO Head of Tech Data & Analytics, as well as the various GSO Tech teams and business stakeholders that are leveraging the GSO Data Platform. Your main focus will be on maturing the architectural standards of the platform, as well as ensuring that they are adhered to all data products that land on the platform.

We welcome caring colleagues who

• Bachelor’s Degree in in a relevant field or equivalent work experience and practical knowledge
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in similar role(s)
• Has experience with related technologies such as Databricks, Kafka
• Has experience with implementing data management controls, data transformation & ETL on large data sets
• Is familiar with SCRUM, Kanban or other Agile methodology
• Is fluent in English both word and writing
